I was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley in Greater Los Angeles. I've resided in Portland, OR since July 2019, but my heart belongs to Los Angeles.
I'm a non-binary trans lesbian; I'm queer; I'm polyamorous; I'm a leftist. My pronouns are she/her/hers and they/them/theirs. I received a B.A. in Philosophy from Occidental College, and frequently collaborate with Bitter Party.
I would mainly consider myself to be a fine art photographer, but I am also available for commercial engagements and event photography. (and commissions, of course). You can get a hold of me using my contact page.
I draw influences from the magical realism of Haruki Murakami, the vibrancy of Akif Hakan Celebi, the flamboyance and authenticity of David Bowie, the love of color and love and loss in themselves of Maggie Nelson, the love of Los Angeles by the art collective Department of Archives and Records, the lesbian love stories of Shura, the political surrealism of Maggie West, the business and belief system of YACHT, and the imperfect understanding and people-centered narratives of Anthony Bourdain.
Additionally, here's the gear I use.
